Family Engagement

We engage our families in the life of the school in several ways:

Family Conferences

Four times a year, we host conferences for our families to meet with their scholar’s teachers to discuss their academic, social and emotional progress and to review goals for the year.

Family Teacher Association

Family Teacher Association (formerly, CETA) is a collective of La Cima families and staff who come together to engage families in the educational experience of their children through shared learning, conversation, and programming. FTA coordinates our tri-annual Day of Service, and supports with community programming including our Latinx Heritage Month Assembly, Black History Month Assembly, and Culture Day. We are always looking for ways to give family a stronger voice, and are open to hearing new ideas for FTA engagement.

Newsletters and Other Communications

Families receive monthly calendars and newsletters announcing upcoming events and highlighting the C.A.R.E. principle and value of the month.

We truly value our partnership with our families and understand how critical it is to the academic and lifelong success of our scholars.
